Verdict

IndianCupid is like a bad date: it looks good on paper, but once you get into the nitty-gritty of it, there’s not much to be excited about. Sure, IndianCupid has some nice features and a few decent matches here and there – but overall I’d say don’t waste your time or money with this one. It’s more miss than hit when it comes to finding compatible partners that are actually interested in dating! Save yourself the headache and find another site where you can meet someone special who will make all those hours spent swiping worth something.

How we reviewed IndianCupid

As an online dating expert, I and my team conducted a thorough review of IndianCupid. We tested both the free and paid versions of the site to get a comprehensive understanding of its features. To gain insights into how other users interact on this platform, we sent out messages to over 500 people in different age groups across India for two weeks straight!

We also took time to analyze user profiles by reading through their bios and looking at pictures they had uploaded (with consent). This allowed us to understand what kind of content resonates with users as well as identify any potential red flags or safety concerns that may arise when using IndianCupid. Additionally, our team monitored conversations between members in order to evaluate communication quality standards among them – something that is essential for successful matches on any dating website! To ensure accuracy in our findings, we even went beyond simply testing the service; we spoke directly with several current members who shared their experiences about using IndianCupid so far. With all these steps taken together during our review process – from sending hundreds of messages ourselves up until speaking personally with real-life customers – it’s no wonder why readers trust us more than other sites which don’t offer such detailed reviews like ours do!

Signing up

Registering on IndianCupid is pretty straightforward. To get started, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address. You can sign up for free, but if you want access to all the features of the site then there are some paid options available too.

Once your account has been created, it’s time to fill out your profile with as much information about yourself as possible – this will help other users find matches that suit them best! Start by entering basic details such as age, gender and location before moving onto more detailed questions like lifestyle habits or hobbies; these will give potential partners an insight into who you really are! After completing this section make sure double check everything so that no one else gets confused when they look through your profile later down the line. Next comes uploading photos – try not to go overboard here because quality over quantity always wins in online dating (and life). A few good snaps should do just fine – don’t forget though: No selfies allowed! Lastly add any additional info about yourself which could include anything from what kind of relationship(s) you’re looking for right now or even how often someone might expect messages from ya’ ;).

Once all these steps have been completed simply hit submit and voila – welcome aboard IndiaCupid!! Now let’s see if Cupid strikes his arrow true…

  • To register on IndianCupid, you will need:
  • A valid email address
  • Your gender and the gender of your desired match
  • Your date of birth
  • Your location
  • A profile picture
  • An interesting bio to attract potential matches

Design & Usability

If you’re looking for a dating site that looks like it’s stuck in the past, then IndianCupid is definitely your cup of tea. The design and usability are nothing to write home about – from its dated colors to its lack of modern features. It feels more like an outdated web page than a contemporary online dating experience.

The navigation on the website isn’t particularly user-friendly either; with menus all over the place, it can be hard to find what you need quickly or easily without having some prior knowledge of how things work around here! Plus, there aren’t any helpful hints or tips along the way so if you get lost – good luck finding your way back again! It doesn’t help that most sections don’t even have proper titles which makes them feel disorganized and unappealing at best. Even worse though is when clicking through different pages; they often take forever loading due to their poor coding structure and layout making navigating this site one big headache after another!

If by chance (or misfortune) someone decides they want access premium features such as advanced search filters etc., unfortunately there won’t be much improvement in terms of UI/UX because let’s face it: IndianCupid hasn’t had an upgrade since dinosaurs roamed this earth…well maybe not quite but close enough right? All jokes aside though, I think we can agree that these guys really need a makeover ASAP before anyone else gets turned off by their ancient appearance…

Help & Support

When it comes to customer support, IndianCupid is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times and have yet to get any sort of response – let alone one that was satisfactory. It seems like they just don’t care!

If you’re looking for help on the site, good luck finding it because there’s no page with frequently asked questions or anything like that. You can try sending an email but who knows how long (or if) you’ll ever hear back from anyone? The response time could be days…weeks…months?! Who even knows at this point?

I think what really bothers me most about IndianCupid is their lack of effort when it comes to providing customers with quality service – especially considering we are talking about a dating website here! After all, isn’t having someone around in case something goes wrong part of the whole package deal? Not only do they not offer up-to-date information regarding changes/updates on their platform but also fail miserably when trying to provide helpful advice or guidance for users experiencing issues. And if your problem requires more than basic troubleshooting then forget getting any kind of resolution whatsoever; chances are slim none will come your way anytime soon!

It’s almost comical how little attention has been given towards making sure people using IndianCupid feel safe and secure while navigating through its services – both online and offline alike. With such poor customer service practices being employed by this company, I’m afraid my review must remain negative until further notice…which doesn’t look likely anytime soon unfortunately 🙁

Security & Safety

Ugh, IndianCupid is not the safest dating app out there. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a secure way to meet people online. First of all, they don’t have any verification process in place for users so anyone can join and start messaging without having to prove their identity or even confirm that they are who they say they are. This means that bots and fake accounts could easily be created on this platform with no consequences whatsoever! And speaking of fighting against these kinds of malicious activities – forget about it! There isn’t even a two-step verification option available which would make things much more secure than what we currently have here… yikes! On top of that, photos aren’t manually reviewed either so you never know if someone has posted an old photo or one from another person entirely – definitely something worth considering before joining up with them. As far as privacy goes? Well let’s just say there’s room for improvement since IndianCupid doesn’t seem too concerned about keeping your data safe and sound… Not cool at all guys!! All in all though, I’d stay away from this site unless safety is totally irrelevant to you when searching for love online (which hopefully isn’t the case!).

Pricing

IndianCupid is a dating site, but it sure isn’t free! Sure, you can sign up for an account and browse around the website – that’s about all you’ll get out of it. To actually start messaging other users or take advantage of any features beyond basic browsing? You gotta pay up.

The pricing plans aren’t competitive either; they’re downright expensive compared to some other sites on the market. And while there are benefits to getting a paid subscription (like being able to send messages without restrictions), I’m not convinced those benefits outweigh the hefty price tag attached with them. All in all, IndianCupid might be worth checking out if money isn’t an issue – otherwise look elsewhere!

Plan Price Features
Free $0 Create a profile, browse profiles, send interest, upload photos, view matches, access customer service
Gold $25/mo All free features plus: Send and receive messages, chat with members, hide profile from searches, use advanced search filters, etc.
